This coast line is relatively near to the ski area of Sierra Nevada (December to May) and the city of Granada's famous Alhambra. Small beaches and rugged rocks are scattered along this coastal area which incorporates La Herradura, Almunecar, Solabrena, Calahonda, Castell de Ferro and La Rabita.
Casa Cailda Mio is sitauated along the edge of the beach.. It has stunning views of the sea and a very well shaded patio with substantial barbecue facilities.
