Sandy beaches 200metres away have EEC Blue flag for cleanliness and stretches for 10 miles beside which aree bars, restaurants and shops.
The beaches vary from unspoilt to commercial.
Mojacar is famous throughout Spain as El Rincon del Embrujo " the corner of enchantment" No building is allowed more than three stories high. The pueblo (village) high on inland cliffs can be seen for miles - whitewashed houses, twisting cobbled streets, winding steps, bars restaurants and art and craft shops. On Fridays there is a market and on Sundays a Flea market. |
