Stylish apartment with quality furnishings 2-bedroomed, 1 ensuite bathroom and 1 family bathroom with shower. First floor, spacious apartment with marble and terracotta floors throughout and a fireplace. The sunny balcony is south-west facing onto mountain, tropical gardens and sea views and is ideal for eating out and enjoying the warmth of the sun from morning till late in the day. 2 pools, one for small children, the other full size. Bed linen and towels provided. Sky TV, please bring your card to watch all channels. The apartment is air-conditioned and is on the brand new complex of Casares Real located between Estepona and Sotogrande, gated. The lift from the underground garage takes you directly to the first floor apartment. Gibraltar 20 minutes drive and boat and hydrofoil to Morocco further along the coast. Close to famous ancient white village Casares, fashionable Duquesa Marina and Puerto Banus yachting harbour. Nearby villages of Mijas and El Castillo have a number of tapas bars plus superb seafood restaurants at very reasonable prices. Just 5 minutes walk to Mediterranean sea, beach with beach bar. Train ride from nearby Gaucin up to Ronda a sheer delight.

Local amenities: Just 5 minutes to local beach with hot and sunny climate for most of the year. Even Winter months daytime temperature often warm and sunny. Casares Real apartments are situated in the new golden mile which is greener, more mountainous and yet still very close to the beach and Mediterranean sea with beach bar. Close to many golf links and alongside two ports, Puerto Banus the place to be and be seen in the Costa del Sol. Here the multimillionaires moor their mega yachts, park their Ferraris and shop in the jewellery boutiques and designer fashion houses. Puerto de La Duquesa for unspoiled breathtaking scenery, traditional Spanish architecture and modern developments form a mild international influence to become one of the great marinas in the Costa del Sol. Tropical Spanish white villages such as Ronda, Casares, Mijas, Istan and Jimena de la Frontera to the very South of Andalucia, close to Africa in the mountains yet close to the sea. The castle, declared a National Monument in 1931 serene and majestic mounted over the village of Jimena. It has been home to Arabs, Carthaginians, Romans, Iberians and Greeks who have influenced the structure of this picturesque traditional village, all within a short drive from Casares Real through some of the most spectacular and breathtaking mountain scenery you can find. The pretty village of Benahavis, with some of the best restaurants on the Coast just 20 minutes away by car. 35 minutes drive to the ferry, hydrofoil and you can be across to Morocco with bustling markets. Play area recently built with swings and slides for children.
Local area: Ancient town of Casares with pretty white houses and excellent restaurants on road. Golf courses just minutes away. Casares Bay is a peaceful beach with warm Mediterranean Sea, easy parking around beach and a lively beach bar. 5 minutes drive to Puerto Duquesa with harbour and excellent restaurants and bars, good for nightlife. Easy access by coastal road to several beautiful Spanish towns, Ronda is a beautiful town high up in the mountains with breathtaking views for miles across green countryside and rivers. Mijas, just 8 km inland, set amongst pine groves on the edge of the Sierra de Kijas mountains, with its hilly, cobbled strees, donkey taxis, unique square bullring and breathtaking coastal views. The battlements of the Arab castle are in the crest of the village, this, coupled with the Mirador viewpoint are the best vantage points to appreciate endless countryside rolling down the valley to the coast, Gibraltar and North Africa. Zahara de la Sierra - now declared a national monument, a striking village of red-tiled houses on a castle-crowned rock. All water sports and activities locally ie diving, surfing, water ski-ing, windsurfing and kitesurfing at Tarifa, 14km along coast. A trip to Morocco on the hydrofoil is well worth the visit. Horse riding at San Pedro, Jeep Safaris at Torremolinos, Scuba diving at Nerja, Skiing in the Sierra Nevada sometimes lasting well into May. Selwo safari and adventure Park close by for all the family. Sea fishing on local beaches. Great location for birdwatching and hill walking locally. Train ride from Gaucin to Ronda just half an hours drive from the apartment.

Monarch Scheduled to Gibraltar 25 minutes drive to Casares. Jerez airport cheap flights from as little as 99p off-season. 1 hour 40 minutes drive through National Park, new road.
From Gibraltar airport approx 25 mins, follow signs to Malaga E15 then take the Casares/Manilva exit. Turn right between km 8 and 9 on the A377.Car hire details can be posted on receipt of booking.
