Golf Information The district is a golfers paradise with 7 golf courses, including 4 championship courses all within 30 minutes drive of Villa La Brisa. The courses are not overcrowded and the all year round sunny climate (3200 hours of sunshine) makes the Cadiz district of Costa de la Luz the European choice for winter golf. The Seve Ballesteros designed 36 hole links at Novo Sanct Petri has stunning views of the sea and the 6th hole borders the shoreline. St. Andreas Golf is within 6 kilometres and there are other good course at Porto Santa Maria; Benelup; Cadiz; Costa Bellena Golf designed by Jose Maria Olazabal at Jerez; Vejer; and Sotogrande. Villa a Brisa is ideally situated in a quite pinewood yet only 1 kilometre from the N340 coastal road, affording rapid access to all Clubs without the need to pass through Chiclana town. Pinar de los Franceses is located on the edge of the protected inland bay of Cadiz and the villa is situated within 500 yards of a 'mirador' overlooking the open spaces of the marismas. There are lovely walks and cycle paths.

Villa Description Villa La Brisa offers lovely views into the surrounding French pines and the roof-top solarium terrace overlooks the private 6.5 x 4m. swimming pool with pool shower. There is enclosed walled parking for several vehicles and this large 1100m plot has its own small citrus grove of mature trees within the landscaped gardens. The interior comprises a spacious reception hallway, lounge with open log fireplace, separate dining room and fully fitted re-modelled kitchen with a built-in cooking system, dishwasher, microwave, large larder fridge/freezer and many appliances. There is a large bathroom with oversize shower, bath, bidet, toilet and basin. There is also a second, separate toilet. Outside is a laundry room with automatic washing machine, sink, iron and storage. Each of the surrounding properties is also unique in design, and the ambience is wonderful. Part of the attraction of La Brisa are its lovely terraces and pool patio. Quality outside furniture and BBQ ideal for eating al fresco.
The Costa de la Luz region La Barrosa Blue Flag beach has 8 kilometres of beautiful silver sand on which there is also horse riding, or take out a jet ski, or simply stroll to one of the superb fish restaurants. Excellent, fine sand beaches are close at Conil, El Palmar, Trafalgar and a marina at nearby Sancti Petri. There is plenty to interest the keen ecologist, with a mirador just 600 yards from the villa overlooking the inland Bay of Cadiz. There is whale and dolphin watching between Tarifa and Morocco from day boats, and within a day's drive is the spectacular Donana Nature Reserve, with a unique opportunity to see the last pairs of breeding black eagles and wild boar. For those wanting some retail therapy, spectacular Seville and duty-free Gibraltar cater for all tastes. There is a fresh produce market on each weekday in Chiclana, which itself has lots of shopping opportunities as does nearby Novo Sancti Petri. There is also plenty of night-life at nearby Barrosa, Cadiz, San Fernando and Jerez.
Sancti Petri, Conil and district Seville boasts some of the finest architecture in Spain, including a magnificent gothic cathedral, the final resting place of Christopher Columbus. The magnificent Grand Palace at Plaza Espana is unforgettable and the city was host to the 1929 and 1992 Expos. Seville is the spiritual home of flamenco guitar, opera and the art of the matador, having one of the largest and grandest bull-rings in Spain, while the sensational 'Isla Magica' theme park caters for the young at heart. Meander through the cobbled streets, sip a robust vino tinto in one the many authentic tapas bars and sample the famous Iberian ham. 'El Circuito de Velocidad' at Jerez offers a full programme of motor sport. Jerez also hosts the famous Andalusian horse fair every May - a fantastic colourful two week pageant of equestian art and colourful fiesta. Sports entusiasts enjoy a PADI centre at Conil and a large family Waterpark at Cadiz.

Notes: Sleeping arrangements include one well furnished double bedroom having a (5') Queen bed and matching suite, and two twin- bedded rooms. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, as does the lounge, which is open plan and offers a log fire; satellite Freeview TV (English channels) & DVD player. Each room has large windows with views & there is part gas central heating. A large and beautifully tiled 50 sq mt semi-circular terrace is ideal for eating al fresco and illuminated at night, set within a landscaped garden & small citrus grove. There is enclosed walled parking for several vehicles and a roof-top solarium terrace affording spectacular views at sunset. Jerez airport within 30 km. is closest to Villa La Brisa with good car hire facilities in the terminal represented by most major hire companies. Ryanair, Air Berlin, GB and Iberian airways operate daily services. The A4 motorway to Cadiz is within only 10km. Alternative airports are Gibraltar, Seville and Malaga - all an easy and pleasant drive.

Notes to the rental rates
The swimming pool has corner steps leading to a depth of 1 metre graduating to 1.5 metres and is unheated. There is an adjacent natural stone pool patio, large BBQ and pool furniture including loungers and relaxing chairs.
Payment may be made by either bank transfer or cheque in either euros or sterling. Credit card payments are not at present accepted. A 25% deposit is payable on booking to secure your chosen dates. The full rental charge is due if booking within 10 weeks of the arrival date and this should be paid together with the security deposit of £200 or 250 euros. Deposits are fully refundable upon cancellation provided the villa is re-let. The security deposit is also fully refundable. Saturday to Saturday rentals are preferred, but enquiries for all other start dates are welcome, and long weekends are possible out of season. |
