Local sports facilities are excellent, golf courses, tennis clubs, fitness facilities are all within easy reach. In winter the Sierra Nevadas provide superb skiing facilities only 90min away. The coast is 2 mins away by car and a 15 - 20 minute walk to the nearest beach.
It is advisable to hire a car for your holiday in order to get the best from the facilities on offer along the coast.
Superb, safe beaches can be found at the beautiful Port of Cabopino only 5 mins from the house.The port also boasts an excellent selection of restaurants for lunch and dinner. Try Da Brunos situated just outside the port!
The aztec country club and Club del Sol offer superb sports facilities, tennis, squash, gymnasium and swimming pools, short term memberships are available.
The Sierra Nevadas are approx. 1 and half hours drive away, the slopes are open from end November until end March, sometimes longer, please check direct if you are interested in snow sports. |

The house is situated in a quiet residential area yet only minutes from the coast, offering a superb contrast.
Marbella a most beautiful Andalucian town is approx. 10 minutes drive away as is Fuengirola another bustling market town.
The very beautiful and interesting mountain village of Mijas will take you approx 25 mins to get to but well worth a visit.
Gibralter will take about 50 mins to get to via the Autopista but crossing the border by car can take time, go early for a full days visit.
The house has beautiful views down to the sea and equally beautiful views to the mountains behind. It is ideally situated to visit the surrounding attractions. |
